Five things to check before you buy web hosting

Netsarthi Team · 13 Sep 2026

Cheap hosting is expensive when your site is slow, down, or unreachable at 9pm.

Hosting is the one part of a website people shop purely on price — and it is the part where a bad choice hurts most.

1. Uptime guarantee

Look for 99.9% in writing. Anything lower means hours of downtime every month.

2. Backups

Daily automatic backups you can restore yourself. Ask how far back they go.

3. Free SSL

Browsers now warn visitors about sites without HTTPS. SSL should be included, not an add-on.

4. Support you can actually reach

A support ticket answered in 48 hours is no help when your site is down during a sale.

5. Where the servers are

Servers closer to your customers mean faster page loads. For Indian businesses, Indian or Singapore servers usually win.

Our own hosting at Netsarthi.com covers all five, and we handle the migration for you.
